Wayne Fishback Investigation Main Page
EnviroReporter.com first reported on controversial developer and architect Wayne Fishback in late 2006 in an article entitled “Fishback Mountain – One man calls his project on the L.A./Ventura border the pursuit of a dream home, but others just see an illegal solid waste dump.”
Alarmed by all the truck traffic, residents near Wayne Fishback's property took photos of the massive operation on May 5, 2005.
One resident climbed aboard the truck cab to question the driver as Griggs looked on while a Los Angeles Times photographer took photos of
the truck and its load of debris.
According to the residents, the newspaper did not report on the encounter or the issue.
Fishback neighbor Robert Mionske hired a helicopter and photographer in later June 2006 to fly above the property to take photos of the activity on
the property and to document the extent of the dumping, filling and grading.
The above map shows the dividing
line between the Calleguas and Los
Angeles watersheds in relation to
Fishback's property in Ventura County.
