The First Annual Toxies Awards were held on March 3, 2010. The event was hosted by the coalition Californians for a Healthy and Green Economy, including Physicians for Social Responsibility – Los Angeles. The Toxies took place at the legendary Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, California, two blocks away from where the 82nd Annual Academy Awards were to be held March 7.
